The Division of Academic Affairs provides the foundational support for everything related to teaching, learning, and research at UCCS. Led by the Office of the Provost, our dedicated team manages the university’s core academic functions: undergraduate and graduate education, faculty development, and strategic accreditation.

The work of our faculty, staff, and students is at the heart of our academic mission. Here, we celebrate their recent achievements and the innovative work happening across the Division of Academic Affairs. These highlights showcase our shared commitment to excellence and the vibrant culture of discovery at UCCS.

  • The first communication from ofa@uccs.edu describes the vision and what you can expect from the office. Review the message send on 9/29/2025.
  • The Faculty Resource Center (FRC) will now report to the Office of Faculty Affairs, aligning their work around faculty development, retention, and instructional excellence to the faculty growth, development, and recognition priorities of OFA.
  • During the 2024-2025 academic year, multiple academic and research policies were approved through shared governance. Many thanks to the various policy leads and committee members as well as EPUS and Faculty Assembly for your participation in policy governance. Read the full policies posted to VCAF.
  • Faculty governance will vote on additional highly impactful policies, and you may want to review the Faculty Assembly calendar.
