Meet Key Leaders and Offices

Understanding the university's strategic direction is key to your work. The Executive Leadership Team offices are central to campus operations, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with their roles and initiatives.
To connect with colleagues, you can utilize Microsoft 365 or search the UCCS Directory for any individual on campus. This allows you to instantly find and contact any faculty, staff, or student via Teams chat, email, and Outlook scheduling by simply searching their name.
Meet a Few Key Leaders
Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students maintains and administers the University Student Code of Conduct, serves as a student advocate, provides assistance to students in crisis, and supports students by directing services and programs that enhance students' education and provide life-enriching experiences.
The entire process, from submitting concerns to the resolution, is outlined with training and policy resources.
Academic Scheduling
Scheduling of Main Campus classes begins in the spring with the next year’s Spring classes, followed by Summer and Fall. Each semester the class schedules are generated by rolling all active sections from the previous year’s like-term schedule (e.g., Summer 2023 is copied to create Summer 2024). Drafts of the schedule are sent to departments in two rounds, allowing two chances to request and finalize changes.
The Office of the Registrar houses all the forms, guides, and contacts for academic scheduling questions.
Research Integrity and Support
OSPRI exists to help University faculty and staff to increase the number of research, programs, services, and other scholarly and creative pursuits that are successful in competitive external funding opportunities from public, private, corporate, and global funding entities (Sponsors), OSPRI works with various groups across UCCS like the Office of Sponsored Programs Accounting (SPA) to ensure financial, contractual, and regulatory risks are minimized.
